Linda R. Pierce

Linda Ritchie Pierce, 68, of Waldorf, MD, passed away on February 1, 2025, after her battle with cancer. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family.

Linda was born on June 19, 1956, to Marilyn and Eugene Ritchie in Winterport, ME. After graduating from Hampden Academy in Winterport, she went on to study business administration. Moving to Tallahassee, FL to work with the Florida BAR and later the Department of Education.

After retiring in 2017, Linda spent her time gardening, reading, and enjoying the company of her five grandchildren.

Linda was predeceased by her daughter Devon Grabill. She is survived by her sister, Carla Ritchie, her children Joe Harty wife Denise, and daughter Emily Pierce, along with her five beloved grandchildren; Jayden, Connor, Camden, Elijah, and Grayson.

Linda will be deeply missed and is loved by all who knew her.

A private family service will be held in the future.
